• were unable to make initial entry to Australia, or

• returned home and wishes to apply again

Subclass 300 Prospective Marriage

Prospective Marriage (Subclass 300) visa holders who were unable to enter Australia before their visa expired

VAC refunds will be available (however it is still unclear how these will be processed).A new application will need to be made once travel restrictions are lifted.

Visitor (Subclass 600) visa holders whose visas expired or will expire between March 2020 and December 2021

Subclass 417 & 462

Working holiday makers (Subclass 417 and Subclass 462) who:

• were unable to enter Australia, or

• who left Australia due to COVID-19 and want to return

Waiver of the VAC for subsequent applicationsThose unable to return because they have passed the age limit for a Working Holiday Maker visa will get a refund.
