Fiona So
Fiona has been assisting with legal research and analysis at Abacus Visa since 2014. Her professional experience spans the tech and legal sectors, having worked in communications for an international public relations firm, tech startup and various non-profits. Fiona completed her Juris Doctor at the University of New South Wales in 2017.
Law has always held a special interest for me. My role at Abacus Visa includes understanding the implications of ever-changing migration law policies, and helping communicate those to our clients simply, effectively and in a timely way.
Even when I’m not digging into legislative amendments and regulations, I’m still an incurable bookworm. Sci-fi/fantasy novels and shows are my go-to entertainment, as is visiting museums and art galleries. When it comes to music, my Spotify playlist collection is as eclectic as they come – I’ll jump from 60s rock to indie pop, then onto classical, RnB or dubstep, depending on the day.
